We celebrated Damian’s birthday in Texas this year. I was worried about him being a little homesick so we brought Jamaica to him. We had a few friends and family over for a night of food, music, games, and just a whole lot of fun. Special thanks to the big chef Jeremiah Koch with his yummy fajitas and to the creative Nancy Kraft from Small Stuff who made the cutest Jamaican themed birthday cake. Quick note, some of the pics may look a little strange but it is only because the guest were marveled by the way Damian can open bottles with another bottle and it seemed to be a talent everyone wanted to try. Join us in remembering this special day. I love you Damian, I hope we were able to bring “ah likkle piece ah yard” to Texas. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Every so often we get hit up from some of our past brides saying hi and giving us updates on what has been happening in their wonderful lives together. Khalil, a fellow West Indian like myself, and his beautiful wife of 11 months, Kareena exchanged vows in October last year at Moon Dance Cliff Resort in Negril, Jamaica. Daniel Kaleb Cumberbatch, the newest member of the family, came into the world at 1:58 pm on July 16, 2010, weighing in at 7lbs 2ozs and measuring 21 inches. Pro images captured by Fola and Korey(visual statement).

Congrats to the Happy couple and their new family. I know quite a few people who are very VERY happy right now

Damian and I had the most wonderful opportunity recently. We photographed our very dear friend Deb Cox’s wedding. It was an emotional event for all of us as she walked down the aisle to marry her best friend Eddie (who we adore by the way) It was held at the gorgeous Villa Sur Mer Resort and our wonderful friend Ari Kotoski of www.negriljamaicaweddings.com coordinated the wedding.

Well we just arrived at the Hotel Zaza here in Houston, there is a garden on the rooftop across the street… COOL. Courtney & Tino, our couple for tomorrow’s wedding look as good as ever. They just went over to the Chapel at The Rice University for the rehearsal, we will definitely hook up with them later for drinks at the Zaza lounge.

A Magical Moment at Coyaba!

One Magnificent wedding at Coyaba Beach Resort in Montego Bay. Anthony and Vanessa exchanged vows on the lawns with the backdrop of the ever awesome Caribbean Sea (Thanks to the Coyaba team for fashionable setup). We are here in Texas and are finally settled in. Its been a one wicked ride these past few days, from our family get together tour of Moody Gardens in Galveston TX to the scary encounter with what we thought was going to be the place we would be spending the next 4 weeks… Horrible! Can’t begin to explain but God worked it out where we got our money back and now we have a really great apartment, YIPPEE!! So we just got done unpacking all our groceries we bought today and now we are winding down with a glass of Merlot.

And we all got arrested for being too cute !!

I hope today is gonna be a GREAT day for everyone. We have a really great wedding today at the Tryall Resort in Hanover in a few hours so we are hustling along to get all our gears packed and ready to go.

We have arrived

So we got to see Paula’s niece play Basket Ball, her team The Orangefield Bobcats slammed The WOSMS Stallions 46/22, very exciting game. I finally got to meet the New Additions to the Manning family(P’s sister’s kids),

1 YO Mason and Robert 2 YO.

We are now in Houston getting ready for one of the biggest wedding shows in the USA dubbed “THE WEDDING SHOW”, no we do not have a booth because we just got the info shortly before we left Jamaica so we didn’t have time to prepare but our good friend Debra Gullette of Designer Destination Weddings got us tickets to the show, YIPPEEEE!! We’ll be back in Jamaica on wednesday.
