A Blessing for 2011!!

Well, it’s a another brand new year again and for many of us we have made New Year’s resolutions. Whatever your resolution or non-resolution we just want you to know that we here at Sun Gold Photography wish for you all God’s richest blessings in this new year. We hope that 2011 will be the year that you succeed at fulfilling your planned or unplanned resolutions. We hope you have success in your jobs and/or careers and a prayer for strength in the changes that you have made for the enrichment of your life. If you do nothing else, trust God and believe in yourself and just have fun.

My desire this year is for God to grant me serenity to accept things I cannot change and courage to change that which I can with the knowledge to know the difference between them both. Many times we get hung up on the things we have no control of and we allow them to steal our joy and feel foolish later. I want this year to be the year I can identify those things and be prepared to meet them.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to each and everyone of the great people we have had the opportunity to met and to those that we will ultimately meet soon.

Well another year is almost gone, it’s Christmas time again and we’d like to wish for all our past, current and soon-to-be brides and Grooms a warm, fluffy Christmas for each and their families. We have been blessed to have know you all and you will continue to be a part of our little journey through life. To all the the brides and grooms that we have shared heartfelt moments or even shed a few tears we just want you to know that you are the reason for our being and we live for those moments. Thank you all and again a safe and blessed Christmas to you.

Ringing in the New Year at Moon Dance Cliffs.

Olivia and Gary proved that they were party folks and showed their families a great time at their New Years Eve wedding. This spectacular event took place at the popular Moon Dance’s new Cliffs Resort on the western side of Negril, Jamaica. The wedding vows were exchanged under the white Victorian styled Gazebo, nestled on the cliffs against the Caribbean Sea as families and friends observed from the comfort of their elegantly decorated chairs. The skies opened up almost immediately following the kiss, but never damped the mood of these party people as they gathered under the patio of one of the five exquisite villas the hotel has to offer, drinking champaign and enjoying a fun and exciting time together. When the rain ceased, the moon dominated the sky in all it’s glory and we were able to capture some magnificent images.

Holiday Greetings to all:

For the first time in years my family and I were all together for Christmas. I had looked forward to this day with much anticipation and it was over way too soon. We head back to Jamaica tomorrow, but I carry back with me the memories of this very special day. We hope you all had a chance to spend Christmas with your loved ones and invite you to take a look at our Christmas celebration.

Easter Weekend!

So Easter came and it went and man was it worth the wait. My BIG sis that I haven’t seen in a while and her kids came to visit a couple of weeks ago and had promised to come back to visit for Easter… she had a HUGE SURPRISE!! She brought her who family so I got to see all my Nephews I hadn’t seen in years and my Niece that is growing into such a lovely young lady. We had a really great time together, We played the Wii, dyed Easter eggs for the bunny hunt, watched a couple movies movies and went to the beach… PHEEEWWWW!! I finally got some family pics with them before they depart today to head back to Kingston.

Hi everyone, just want to wish y’all a Happy and Holy Easter today and hope that you will be blessed with the desires of your heart, inline with God, so that your blessings may be a blessing unto others. I want today to be a day of reflection, reflecting on what God has done for me, my family, my friends, my business and my country. Blessings usually comes more than we can imagine but our hearts are sometimes set on the wrong things and we totally miss that which we had been given. Make today the day you open your heart to receive your blessing, the blessing that God wants you to have, the blessing that can and will be a blessing to everyone that sees you and knows you and admires you or hate you.

Happy Emancipation Day Everyone

Hi all, it was Emancipation Day here in Jamaica yesterday August 1, 2007, which is a Public Holiday. That means lots of Jerk chicken and a fun day at the beach for most. Ok, this photo is a little different than we normally post on our blog, but we thought you might like to see it. We were travelling back from the beach yesterday when we saw this beautiful rainbow over some of Jamaica’s beautiful countryside. This is actually a sugar cane field and a spectacular site. Enjoy!
